Earplugs, over the earplugs headphones, and a packet of nytol or similar in case its really bad!  Both my best friends snore really loudly and their daughter talks in her sleep too.... you get on with it, good excuse for a kip in the afternoon in the (hopefully) sunshine!!

Hippychick, good to hear your going to be at trelloy at the same time as us.

I'll listen out for the snoring, ha ha.

And if you need any TILING tips, stand at side of my tent when i'm asleep............... apparently i was telling the girlfriend last night, "if you dont cut them properly, then they dont look right when there on the wall!!"

This is sound advice obviously......... BUT I WAS FAST ASLEEP WHILE I WAS TELLING HER THIS............

my hubby used to snore heavily, wasnt over weight or has a collar size of 17 and over he is only a 15.5, i tried everything the tennis balls on his back of his pj's, a thump in the side, shaking him awake etc but nothing did, he tried everything, nasal strips, sprays etc, he went to the docs and refered him to a sleep clinic, in 2 months they had diagnosed him with severe sleep apnea and now uses a C-PAP machine with water reservoir which forces air into his nose and mouth and now he doesnt snore at all which is a god send.

Well the wife and I are both most definately "overweight" (hate that term, we're fat). But for those who do have this condition (it affects people of all sizes) it must be taken seriously.

Neither of us snores much, though she tells me I do snore a bit if I have been drinking. I think there is probably at least one major snorer on every campsite, on average its going to happen because most people snore to some extent and a proportion snore quite loudly. Its just one of those things. Everybody makes noises of some kind, we all need the loo...and we all fart....we might pretend we don't but we most certainly do!
