Hi, Im hoping someone can point me in one direction with these 2 tents. Which one is better. especially when it comes to leaking or standing up to the wind.

I like the nebraska xl but its slightly out of our price range so im going for these 2 as they are similar. Any help or advice would be great.

Cheers Roz

I have one of last years non sig antares 13's, which is very well made, easy to put up (but takes a while) is heavy but sturdy and doesn't leak!

Sorry, can't comment on the other one

Just got to find a good deal now.

I understand Aztec is pitched inner first which is an issue for some (inner will get wet if pitching / taking down in the rain) and from looking at piccies, its a wee bit lower in the pods

Why not also consider a Royal Pescara 8. Very similar to nebraska, falcon, antares. Also cheaper than a Nebraska. This is 'in-one' pitched (I believe) and is very slightly bigger than the aztec (almost identical to Nebraska). It also has a small 'annexe' bit on the back, which looks useful.

Our first big tent was a Wynnster and I think their build quality is very good.

If I was choosing between them I'd be stuck between the Wynnster and the Royal  and I'm not sure if my 'brand loyalty' would overcome the extra bits the Royal offers.

We have an Antares 9XP and think it's great.

There's loads of room, 4 bedrooms you can stand up in and room for a dining table in between. It's well built, goes up in about 45 mins and has a flexible interior (You can configure it for 1, 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms.)

Pefectly waterproof in a French deluge but not had it out in a gale yet.

It is a large bag when folded up (plus another bag for the poles) but it's definitely worth it for longer holidays.

We looked at Diablos and similar big domes but didn't like the closed in central areas or sloping bedrooms.

Don't have any experience of the opther tent you mentioned but would definitely recommend the Wynnster.
