We to have a Daxara 158 with the side extenders and ABS hard top. Easy to tow and always packed ready to go for those last minute trips, great buy and a bargain from Ebay due to a wheel bearing needing replaceing
Rickit, Will you give over we bought our Dax 158 and hardtop new, and you keep telling everyone how cheap you got yours We have side extensions now, and will never look back, please dont tell me you got em for a tenner or something crazy!
Hi John & Caz, Sorry mate but I got the lot on Ebay for £300 and I know a real bargain what with trailer, Side extenders, ABS hardtop and all the other extra's. The guy wanted to get rid of it as he had bought a van. Only had to replace the wheel bearings. But even at full price you got a cracking piece of kit mate and can haul a great deal of stuff.

Thats just amazing £300 notes for all that! Be back on later after I've finished kicking myself around the house wait until I tell Caz, that will be more beatings for not looking on ebay first. I like to sell stuff on ebay, but never think of buying on ebay. Doh!
We bought a Noval Portaflot trailer on Ebay. It has the extended sides a fitted tarpaulin and an unused spare wheel. Its been great so far - the big test will be in August as we are going to France.
Finding somewhere to keep it was an issue. Its sitting on a small paved area outside my front window, though its better than having a caravan in the drive as we had before. We also don't have any security devices on it- it is very difficult to manouevre it past some shrubs though.
Just back from our first weekend away with the "Franc Trailor" we bought on eBAY.
To answer the first posters question, yes - get a trailor. I would highly recommend it!!! All camping gear fitted in it, its really easy to tow (just remeber the 60mph ruleon the motorway!) and during the weekend was really useful to store all the empty boxes etc from our kit. It meant the car was kept empty and only used for the prams etc before a day out. Back home now, and have packed away all of our camping gear in the trailor and we are ready to hook u[p and go for our next weekend away!
