Hi,

R.E Royal Sassari 6

We bought a new tent a month or so ago (second-hand) and went camping over the last bank holiday in may (yes thats right, the one where it rained constantly!)

Tent is absolutely fantastic! we did manage to put it up after lots of head scratching (took us an hour just to realise the inside bit goes up first!) but it wasnt erected properly.

The outer bit was touching the inner bit ( I appologise if I'm baffling you with technical jargon here) so we spent 72 hours looking at the roof where it was touching the inner pod things and praying really hard that the rain wouldn't come through, which it didnt!!! Yipee!

We go away again next weekend and want to do it a bit better, does anyone either know where you get copies of instructions or can offer any help as to what order you do things - failing that, anyone with more experience going to be at Callow Top in Ashbourne next weekend?

Hi Camping Queens

Have you tried to contact the manufacturer of this tent?  They should be able to send you an instruction leaflet or details on email.

I dont have this tent but if I did I would have sent you the instructions cos I am that sort of person but now that you have realised that the inner goes up first it could be just a case of fine tuning so that the outer is not touching the inner!

I wil try looking on the net for you and if I get any joy i will post on here but not sure if Royal is the maker or just another posh name for tent.

Ok I done a search try these - email or telephone - although phone would be quicker!!

info at wilddays.com 01667 451831

or

www.johncross.co.uk 01580 883062

these should be able to help - I would try the top one first as they appear to have a lot of Royal tents
