If only they would supply with a much bigger bag. They must know that once opened, never properly returned to original state. Mind you, have bought the footprint groundsheet and that saves the clothes from getting dirty whilst rolling around on the floor looking stupid

thanks for the advice ill give all ideas a try.  the poles do come in a seperate bag but on the outwell instructions it says when packing tent up for the first time the bag of poles can now be rolled up with the rest of it,no chance plus the main bag would be miles to heavy as well,it has got wheels but you still have to lift it in the car/trailer.

the people that write them instructions have nevey ever been camping.

We have never had a problem putting our Monty away. We lay it out flat with the doors OPEN (very important that bit), then we fold the two sides one quarter of the way in, then we fold those folds over again into the middle, making sure we get as much air out as possible in the process. We then fold one of those two folds on top of the other. We then roly poly down it slowly from the back to the front, so the air is expelled through the front door. We then start to tightly roll the tent towards the bag, taking our time and expelling any existing air. Once we have a tight roll, we position the bag over the tent and place the tent as much as possible inside it, then flip it over and push the remainder of the tent in. Done!

Hi

Trick of packing:

1 - Open the doors (inside & out)

2 - Fold in half lengthwise

3 - Fold in half lengthwise again & get kids to rolly-poly along

4 - Fold in half lengthwise again & get the kids to rolly-poly along.

4 - TIGHTLY roll the tent along the length and roll it into the bag!

Voilla.

Les

Ditto Les  exactamondo! We do every inch the same. Great when its wet!  Wet or dry it always goes in! (the bag that is)

John
