thanks for the advice ill give all ideas a try.  the poles do come in a seperate bag but on the outwell instructions it says when packing tent up for the first time the bag of poles can now be rolled up with the rest of it,no chance plus the main bag would be miles to heavy as well,it has got wheels but you still have to lift it in the car/trailer.

the people that write them instructions have nevey ever been camping.

Trick of packing:

1 - Open the doors (inside & out)

2 - Fold in half lengthwise

3 - Fold in half lengthwise again & get kids to rolly-poly along

4 - Fold in half lengthwise again & get the kids to rolly-poly along.

4 - TIGHTLY roll the tent along the length and roll it into the bag!

Voilla.

Ditto Les  exactamondo! We do every inch the same. Great when its wet!  Wet or dry it always goes in! (the bag that is)
