These are so funny I am in stitches, emvid yours is hillarious!

When I was in my late teens my sister and I went on a cheap camping coach hol to France.We didnt have a clue about camping and on the coach there I was doubled up in pain with cystitis, my sis's legs swelled up like tree trunks. On arrival I was administered morphine but I think the nurse overdosed me on it as I just passed out and slept solidly till morning. My sis sat on her bed crying feeling alone with no one to talk to in a stange place.  The next morning we thought we would explore the area on bikes so set off to the nearest village, as it was baking hot so we didnt bother wearing anything but our bikinis. Feeling adventurous in the town I tried to mount the kerb on my bike ( showing off! ) the bike came to a sudden halt and I went right over the front falling in a heap flat on my face in front of the post office.  When we got back to the tent, me all battered and bruised we found we were overun with ants and didnt have a clue how to get rid of them.The tents were very close together and there was a really weird couple next door and we could hear them having sex every night despite having their aged mother in law with them who always looked the most dishevelled in the mornng!

We've never had a really bad holiday but have had several minor hiccups. 

We went camping last year for my husband's 30th with another couple.  We arrived late on the Friday as we had been sat in traffic for over an hour to find out friends attempting to pitch a large tent they'd inherited. Not only was it a particularly difficult tent to pitch but as we arrived they managed to snap the elestic one of the poles.  With our help and the help of another friendly camper we managed to resucitate it after a lot of struggling. 

We then discovered that our airbed had developed a puncture so we fixed it with our handy airbed repair kit.  After leaving the glue to dry whilst we bbq-ed in the dark we attempted to inflate it with our noisey electric pump.  As it was about 11pm we did this in the car to reduce the noise, not the easiest of tasks, only to discover lots more holes.  My OH (who likes his beds comfy) refused to sleep on the ground in the tent so decided to sleep in the front of the car.  For some reason I decided to keep him company.  (Tent would have been comfier!).  Unsurprisingly we woke early to discover we had forgotten any mugs and I am unspeakable until I've had my first cup of tea. 

However the rest of the weekend was good and OH enjoyed his birthday despite the little hitches.
