Can I just see what people think are the most comfortable things to sleep on.....we currently use air beds but always seem a bit lumpy and bit uncomfotable and often get condensation between the air bed and the sleeping bag.....wot are the comfy alternatives in a Diablo 600 pod ???
we have the coleman comfort airbeds (singles & doubles) - very comfy and stay pumped up, also don't roll of the edges unlike the old (blue & red) airbeds we had which always went down, were uncomfy and suffered from a lot of moisture/condensation - we don't get as much moisture on the colemans but we always put a fleece blanket on the beds to reduce the moisture and sleep on top of the blankets. we just pull back the sleeping bags from the beds during the day to let everything air. We used to have the deluxe aluminium frame camp beds as well - but they condensated, were cold and also creaked with every slight movement - colemans for us definately!
We all sleep on readybeds and avoid condensation by putting a fleece blanket between the airbed and cover, for colder nights we have a fleece blanket inside the bag as well.Always best to not over inflate, don't want to make the airbed too firm.Sometimes you might have to try different things to find what is right for you.
We have been using a king size airbed, with a blanket underneath, a thin duvet ontop, under a fitted sheet, and then a thick ducet ontop of us. Very snug
However, last couple of trips have found the airbeds have started to go down in the night. So interested in others suggestions too.

the coleman comforts stay well inflated - used ours for 2 weeks solid and didn't need to re-inflate at all.
