Hi

Got a Santiago and we love it. But - we've been away in it twice and both times have found that when it's pitched, on one side the poles (where the pins go) is bending inwards a bit. Is this something to do with the webbing tension or are we doing something obviously wrong? It doesn't seem to affect the function, but it niggles me and we're going on holiday to France soon and don't like to think of trying to sort it out in the heat!!

I've just pitched a Santiago for the first time and also had the same thing occur so I would be also very interested in any help from other members.

Yes that's it! Either side of doors but only on one side of tent. Other side is fine. Thought at first we were on a slight slope but then it happened again when level.

My English teacher would have me in detention for putting "is bending" instead of "are bending"! Good thing I don't have to worry anymore!

LOL at 'Proper' english....... mine leaves a lot to be desired.

Am almost postive the cubs Santiagos do bend inwards at this point however if it is one side or both I can not recall.

Used ours for the first time at the weekend and did the same thing, glad it's not a problem
