Hi all

Hoping to get away again at the end of the week.  I had a few problems last camp, with the wind blowing the tent upwards at the area where the rings and pins and poles meet (at the ends of the tension straps) on my Gelert Lokon 5. 

I have just read in one of my replies that the steel pins should have been fitted inside the ends of the poles.  (Which I didnt do, but I did wonder at the time of pitching what these silver pins were for)

Just wanted to know - is it obvious how these pins should fit into the poles?  As far as I can remember they are like a question mark shape, but joined up at the head. Have I misunderstood completely?  Can any one shed some much needed clarity on this please?  Greatly appreciated!!  ThankX Louise

Hi, try this....if that don't work its on vango's website under pitching instuctions at the bottom of any tents instrutions you will find the ring and pin diagram
