Hi folk's,

My 1st post here, so hoping for a friendly welcome!

I've managed to break the one of the main fibreglass poles for my Eurohike 495TS. One of the sections has split down the middle.

Has anyone got any advise as to where I can get a replacement from?

I got the tent originally from Millets about 3 years ago, but a quick check of their website show's it's not listed anymore.

Millets and Blacks sell replacement poles (see here), just check the diameter and length you need and you should be able to get fixed up.

Glad to see this post as i have the same problem with one of the poles in my eurohike. Is this a common problem with this make of tent or have we just been unlucky.

I had the same problem with my gelert after the scottish solo meet Alan126 also had split pole

I have had split poles, usually when trying to erect a tent in a gale. It's just bad luck and isn't a problem with any particular type of tent.
