Was out in the car yesterday shopping expecting the rain to come but it never came, so we decided to turn around car, go home, hitch up trailer full of camping gear, packed some clothes, popped into sainsburys and bought some burgers and sausages and some babs and not forgetting the dispossible BBQ and just headed south.

40 mins later found a campsite with still loads of space and just pitched up for the night.

What a glorious night to. Kids had a park to play in and then a few card games till quite late whilst the wife and i consummed lots of cider (well we are Devions  )

Then a mad rush to pack away by 10am and home just in time for the F1 racing.

Moral of the story. ITS JUST FAB TO GET AWAY EVEN FOR A NIGHT AND THAT IS THE JOYS OF CAMPING.

All stress free now for a 60 hour week at work   

Just thought i would share that little tale with you and i guess you all have same experiences??

That sounds just perfect. What a good idea. Pitty it hasnt even been dry for a day near me.

My word fancy seeing you on here. Yeah is a great site and everyone on here has been so helpfull. Been camping for years but you never stop picking up great ideas and where better then from peeps who know.

We actually sayed at the site in Plymouth near Marshmills which you will know then as we were leaving Sunday we saw a Bike meet on the estate going on. Don't know what it was though??
