Hi -  we've just bought our first tent - a Colorado 600 (not the DLX version).  We just pitched it for the first time and we love it, but are unsure whether you are able to have a canopy with it.  I've seen a picture on a website where this tent was tested, and it quite clearly shows one.  My hubbie reckons that it would be impossible to fit a canopy to this tent, but I'm confused as I've seen this picture.  Maybe the pic is of an older version of the 600?  Link is below:

Any advice would be very welcome.  It wouldn't be the end of the world if we can't have a canopy, but it would be nice.

Thanks

The current vango canaopy wont fit, sorry

The picture is infact the door, with 2 extra poles you should have with the tent to create a canopy

unsure if any of the outwell or one of the other manufacturs will fit as our store has not had anyone say they will.

Thanks for your reply.  We didn't get 2 extra poles with the tent and my hubbie reckons the way the door zips on our 2007 model (door not square/oblong - is more rounded) would not lend itself to creating a canopy anyway.  I think Vango must have changed the spec. Drat!!

Don't really want to go down the gazebo route, but may have to after all.

Have a look at the Coleman classic awning which goes over your tent and also gives you a very large porch awning.I bought mine from Outdoorkit on the web,I paid £24.99,is certainly does the job and not a lot of money..........regards
