Your roof box for the car while camping?
Do you leave it on or take it off and store it in the tent?

Hi,
We have a trailer now! But when we went for the week with the roof box we took it off and stuck it behind the tent and used it to store the buckets and spades and swimming gear etc. It was quite handy.

We only really use it when going abroad, when we went away last August we took it off, roofbars and all and put it behind the tent.

We leave ours on and don't notice any difference in fuel consumption. (Big box on the top of a 307 estate)

Thanks

We have just fitted ours to the top of the trailer, so easy for storage while on site and no worries about going into carparks etc while away.
