Hi all, i've been reading this excellent forum since the wife  along with the kids, 3 boys aged 13, 6 and 2 have been pestering me to take them camping.

We are starting from scratch regarding camping gear and although am on a budget have managed to pick up a few things like our tent the Khyam Harvard Deluxe
and the Coleman Dual Fuel 2 Burner Stove- these are our biggest two outlays, from reccomendations on this forum. We are just getting the basics to see us through our first weekend away, as we will collect more thing the more time we go, but we need a table to put the stove on, could anyone reccomend one please, thanks in advance.

Sorry if my message is a bit long winded.

Ps having to take all us 5 an dour gear in a peugot 206 (don't ask)

This is a handy table for cooking on and will be handy as a dining table when the cooker is removed, it will get you started for a weekend

hi dean,

tables... well I got our table from aldi's but it is one of their specials, so only in store for a week or two ( although our local store still had one last week) It was £14 i think, about a month or two ago. It packs up like the camping chairs and has served us well for our last two trips.

as for fitting it all in, you will, just allow plenty of time to pack it all up, we have a corsa, 4 of us, and we manage(but only just )

Have a great trip !

Hi dean.
There is one thing to think about when you buy your Table.
There is no such thing as a level field and there is nothing wose than a rock and rolling Table,Even if you pack it out you will knock the packing out before the meal is over.Buy one with ajustable legs,
Regards
Rex
