I was researching the source of my "Big Boy" chairs that i bought from Aldi, (now £4-95 if your quick) and found they were branded in America as "Ozark Trail" produced exclusively for Walmart, now, i know that we wonder where we put our stuff when we go camping but some of the stuff over there is amazing, they certainly love their comfort and some of the prices are incredible, just out of interest i thought some of you may like to have a browse, i found it fascinating
Stooooopppp that, you guys are making me homesick. I've only been here since the end of Feb and I do miss my Walmart. Amazing bargains. Where else could you go to buy your tent, a gun, a jug of milk, bait, a fiberglass boat......... I could go on, but it is a one-stop shop and I miss it. Funny to see Ozark Trail here in the UK. Just think, if you had someone over there to get stuff and you sent over say £30, that would give you $60. The exhange rate sucks for us coming over here but boy what a lottery winning feeling for going over there!
PS I'm not a gun person, just think it's odd you can walk into walmart and buy one.
I bought an Ozark Trail 4 man tent from Asda a couple of years ago, and contrary to the price of £30, it an excellent quality tent. I bought it mainly for the small size it packs down to, and only 4.5 kilos but expecting it not to last long. I've used it at about 20 motorcycle rallies now, its never leaked or has anything broken on it, and tents lead a hard life at bike rallies.
I've also got the small Ozark Trail canvas chair that i take with me, and a couple of the regular size ones in my van.
wallmart ======= well were do i begin it is a fantastic store you can spend all day there i love it, they also have a super wallmart, as mama bear said you can get everything there we went to one wallmart & you could get your car serviced while you shop! how cool is that. they need to bring more of the american wallmart over to england, you'd all love it! & no im not a sales person just a wallmart fan !!!!!!!!
Would need a lot of space for a superwalmart. Most walmarts in America are not superwalmarts. When we would go grocery shopping, we would spend nearly 2 hours in there because you're shopping for everything else. My mom is coming here in Sept and I can't tell you the good deals she has got for our children. Sucks that due to customs and the fact that you're 2 pieces of luggage can now weigh no more than 50 pounds, she's quite limited to what she can bring now. Hate that.
oh makes me want to move to america and live in a tent, some really good bargains, but i got a asda airbed and it leaked the moment we inflated it, but then that can be said for argos ones, lucky we took it back to the local store were we were camping and they gave us a new one no probs.
