I like everything about camping even the rain on the tent in the night. As our kids are all grown up now I don't mind a bit of wet camping because it means I can just laze around reading etc.
Oh yes there is one thing I hate, no where to put my glasses when I am having a shower. I am so short sighted that I have to wear them to the shower or I wouldn't find my way back.
Love camping and laying in the tent listening to the dawn chorus then dropping back off to sleep all cosy.
Hate; noisy campers after midnight, parents who don't keep their kids under control, not camping out of season coz my OH is a wuss.

love love love camping, the planning, the journey there, the pitching, watching my 2 monsters enjoying themselves.all the peace and quite(hopefully lol)
hate the neighbor who wont leave you alone,im all for a friendly chat but there is a limit.
ooh and the ones thats just nose in your tent and comment on what you got argh lol
I love camping i talk about nothing but camping when i am not doing it my work mates call me boring. I hate packing it all up in the rain and unpacking wet tent when we get back its so hard to dry we have not got a big enough garden to to it up in so have to drap it every where. June bloodfairy
I like cooking with only very basic facilities! I have 2 burners and one grill and love the challenge of creating meals like the ones I do a home on my 8 burner double oven range - its a challenge (thank fek for batchelors savoury rice.... saved my skin many a time after a cooking disaster!).
What I hate is when happened yesterday. Inconsiderate neighbours with a vicious dog on a lead too long + one child playing happily with a ball in a family field = one bitten scared girl (and one mad as hell me).
------------- Proud Mommy of a Vango DD360, Outwell Montana 4, Quechua 3 second air, Quechua 2 second air.... oh... twin daughters too!
I love camping, sitting outside with a few glasses of wine/beer, bbqing frequently. Bacon and Egg smells in the morning outside in glorious sunshine (when we do have it), just relaxing basically.
Dont like the packing up, or the packing down so much, dont like it too wet and everything turns muddy.
But on the whole i love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
its all about team work me the wife and kids all muck in setting up and packing up rolling down the tent when it is folded up to get the air out so much fun .and a gasp when it goes in the bag first time and all fits in the trailer/car/topbox...
bad points neighbours who talk until 2 in the morning round a camp fire in a cast iron bbq spitting and going the fire that is!! gits!!!
Likes: Quality time together as a family, enjoying playing games with the kids. Having bbq's, and most of all sitting under the stars at night chilling with a few beers when the kids have gone to bed (ah peace at last lol).
Dislikes: Packing up in the rain. Can't think of anything else!
I LOVE it!
------------- "I never understood the idea of camping. We work all year to finally go on holiday and pretend like we are homeless."
I love cooking breakfast outside in the mornings, I love having no TV, I love the early morning dew.... I could go on forever
I DON'T like, inconsiderate neighbours, yappy dogs barking everytime someone opens a tent door at night and I HATE kids on bikes with those plastic stabalisers that make loads of noise riding past my tent at 7am and still going at 9pm!!
