Could any one give any ideas for sites that are suitable for families with teenagers attached ? would love to hear of any sites around the south west that welcome campers that have older kids and dogs and a big ole tent and where it is maybe a little laid back .We often camp in groups and again all the lovely little welly clad kids in their spotty jim jams have turned into rugby playing big elephants or hair straightening mirror pouting supermodels(why do they still want to come away with us i dont know!) Corners of fields are always a good idea but any suggestions would be gratefully accepted.

In reply to the 'camp alone teenagers', why miss out? 5 grown ups go along with wine and pitch up a good distance away ,go in disguise and pretend you dont know them unless in an emergancy!

I am surprised nobody has suggested campsites for scouts. This might be a viable option if you speak to a local pack leader.

Hey NiceCuppaTea - perhaps we could get our kids together, sounds like they would be a match made in heaven - the funny thing is, when they are little you NEVER think they will turn into teenagers like everyone elses do you??

We solved OUR rugby playing elephant by taking a friend (a girl but JUST a friend!) with us last year - she is now a permanent fixture, they could roll their eyes at the grown ups and sisters and go off together when it all got too much -

Who does your son play for?

Jackie
