I know this is a funny thread to post... Last April we went away for a weeks camping and when we came back, both my 18month old and I, had funny pimply skin on our faces?

I am aware that it is most probably caused by constant exposure to wind etc., but just wondered if anyone else encounters this problem, as we are going away for 10 days next month and wondered if a moisturiser would help, or have we just got very sensitive skin ?

Never wound up with pimply skin when camping but I know my skin needs a lot more moisturiser when out in the wind etc.

Not so odd after all, I came back after a four night trip (our first) with my skin in really bad condition and a bit pimply too. But I think it might be down to the fact that lazy me didn't quite look after it that well. I agree that you might need a richer moisturisera and maybe with inbuild sun protection. Body shop do a nice one.

Glad to hear i'm not the only one to have noticed this, and will definately look into a good moisturiser, but probably shouldn't apply this to my little boy !

Thanks for your responses.

There are some great natural ones out there which I use for my 4 year old daughter. Or even just a bit of aloe vera gel would help. Is also really nice and cool.

Yes that sounds like sun and wind damage - and you do need to use good skin care products for the whole family when on an outdoors holiday. Something that moisturises and has sun protection in it is essential; even though we all feel we aint seen much sun this year, UV rays are bouncing round even on dull days and cause skin damage.

My teenage daughter has statred to get pimply skin , not prper spots , its more like a rash . I know this could be her age , we've tried clensing etc , but that hasnt work . Now i've suggested drinking more water & loads of fresh fuit .
