Anywhere but a campsite this weekend! - we like it a little less crowded.
2 weeks time off to Bala in Snowdonia, then shropshire at the end of September, lake district late October then, hopefully Delamere Forest in November.
This time tomorrow we'll be set up on a little campsite just under 30 miles in a quiet direction from Bristol (that's quite important on an Aug BH), it's a CS so they'll be five vans on the top end of the field where they have hook up and then us, just our tent on the remainder of the 8 acre site....
Bliss and then some
In an ideal world, I'd be in France, camped somewhere near a beach watching the sun set...
I'd be at the top of Barafundle bay or Broadhaven south in South Pembrokeshire, overlooking the beach. It would be a perfect day for a swim and there would only be a handful of people on it. I have only been back from there for a couple of weeks but it's already been too long. Failing that, I'd be swimming at Lulworth cove in Dorset as I never got to do it when I went recently as the stones crippled my feet. That is definately going on my 'to do' list.
I'd be at Par in Cornwall (near St Austell). I've had my most relaxing and enjoyable holidays there the last few years, so I keep going back year on year.
