Hi folks

Due to go camping next weekend with our new Nebraska XXL.  Just wondering how easy it is to put up with 2 people and how long approximately it actually takes.

Many thanks

Rob

If its windy you may have problems... its easy in calm weather for 2 but if you have gusts of wind its a living nightmare thats why when we got our Nebraska changed due to leaking we had it replaced with the Vermont XL which is a tunnel tent and much easier to Erect.

Took 5 people to put ours up in slightly windy conditions mid july at the blue dolphin caravan park..

Its not the size of the tent...its how you pitch it..

Ideally you need to test pitch the tent before you go, this avoids the pressure of first pitching in public and allows you to ensure that you've got all the bits and pieces and that there are no problems with the tent.

Given the problems that Outwell have had over the last year or so I would also want to hosepipe test the thing before I risked the British weather!

2nd season with my nebraska, takes about 1 hour with 2 people,it can b difficult when windy but not impossible, after you have got the 2 main roof poles in get someone inside to hold the them up then fit the 4 main poles up with the pins in and the rest can b done with one person.Mine now leaks, good design but bad workmanship i guess, seems to b a problem throughout with outwell,Good Luck,

I think there is a video on their website to show u how it goes up.

We don't have any probs,  only takes about 30 min with the 2 of us the hardes't part is putting it down make sure you pack it away with the doors open.   We put  all the poles on the middle section then lift we don't go inside and hold it up.  Just lift it and put in the pins.

As for the leaks we used ours 3 times before it leaked, would never try with a hose pipe we have water meter and it would cost a bomb lol.

If it goes wrong just laugh, that's what we did lol.

Happy camping
