We have these and they are great - use one for taking all our dirty dishes to the washing up area

my dad actually has a folding canvas washing up bowl - brilliant little thing (although tbh I prefer my mop bucket) and it packs down really small 10cm x 2cm - great for hiking. Not sure where he got it - one of the hiking shops like Field and Trek I think.

I use my trug for every thing, washing up ,washing clothes and bathing the 3 year old grandson who wont go in a shower.  After a week its neccessary. Will put picture on profile shortly.  PamJ

 I bought a trug the other day, from focus DIY store, cos I thought it would be ideal to use for carrying pots n pans to washing up sinks, glad I got it now.
