Recently camped and had rain for a couple of nights, tent seemed to get a lot of condensation on the inside of roof which gave us all a shower when the wind got up.Tent is a gelert lucon 5 tunnel tent with four occupants and we use a small gas cartridge heater to take the chill off on cooler nights.how can we avoid these indoor showers?cheers.

Hi Mickistic & welcome to UKCS. If you use the yellow search button you can look up lots of previous threads about condensation.

Keeping any vents open is a good tip.

Hi
If your tent is not breathable you can help a little by opening all vents and window and doors but you will not stop it, I am afraid. the more you shut your selves in the more condensation, If you open all the vents and compensate for heat loss with an electric heater that will also help, but if you use gas that will make more,
The only answer is a cotton type tent that breaths, when you come to change tents.
Rex.
