Our tent is sort of like the Montana and I was concerned the heater wouldn't throw out enough heat to keep the everyone warm. As it costs less the £10 it's worth giving it a try.
We have had this debate, to heat or not to heat?? anyway we have been out today and bought an "outwell fan heater S" £17.99, Not used it camping yet, but checked how hot it gets, it seems to be ok.
Also bought an outwell wardrobe that had been reduced to £29.99, coat hangers that fold up, a frying pan with folding handle and an outwell light that hangs from the top of the tent.
This camping lark is costing me a fortune, LOL, good fun though.
We have just arrived home from camping in Buxton and had a small fan heater in our tent, we went to the pub at night come home and it was lovely and warm. We have always used a small fan heater and never had any problems.
I took both the fan heater and the skirting board heater this weekend. It wasn't that cold, but did get nippy at night
I went with the skirting heater in the inner tent all night, after reading it on here (500w so just keeps the chill off) Was perfect, not too hot, felt safer with 2 labradors snuffling around all night, and not too intrusive or drying as the fan heater.
Never used the fan heater , but if I attempt a late break it might come into use
We bought a fan heater from Argos at £10,thermo stat button on it and frost reading thermo on it!!! Kept us warm last nite, no condensation this morn either!!
------------- Sunny days means happy camping days!!!!!
I love camping me, i do, i do, i do!!!!
Yes its fab assembled it really quickly and folds down into a flatish holdall. Its the outwell barbados one. We got it from Caseys, the camping section of the Grosvenor Garden Centre in Chester.
