News here of a new site opening up next year in Wales with ready erected tents http://www.coldatnight.co.uk/index.html . I don't know anything else about the site though, the link was in a Howies catalogue which came in the post today. MT
------------- Tackling life the Western District way
Seems like a good idea. Eurocamp seem very popular - but I don't think they have any sites here in the UK. Maybe this place is trying to compete with them and provide a campsite like Eurocamp in the UK.
Then round the patio there should be a little fence with a gate in it and maybe, as you have a patio, a patio light or two.
Seriously, area looks lovely and I realise its only a "pre-website website" but it doesnt mention two of the most important things in my life when camping - proper loos and showers.
------------- We dont stop playing because we grow old. We grow old because we stop playing.
I rather like the idea of decking, comparable with hardstanding for caravans. At least it would keep you dry just outside the entrance of tent considering the weather we had this summer I quite like to see them on sites. If caravans need harstanding then us tenters need decking.
From what it looks like you still have to provide all your own equipment. It looks like you only get the tent and the decking, so you aren't really saving much effort
Not sure I can cope with being sociable with lots of people at breakfast either
