Hi Foggy.
The guys show up in half light but I do not rate them in the dark without the cleats,I will use them should the site be a bit crowded as they show up very well in daylight.

Our monty came with illuminous guys all round, My friend laughs at us says our tent looks like blackpool illuminations at night!

Summer nights are so short that I find they do glow all night with no probs.

I still manage to trip over them though on the 3 o'clock half asleep trudge to the loo block, doesn't help that i don't bother with my glasses.

I think the worse time was when a donkey triped over the guys and pulled half the tent down with him in the new forest!

Hi, we use the solar garden lights. One by each of the front ropes give people an idea where the ropes are. If they are wondering around the back, then they do that at their own risk.
