Hi We have recently purchased an Erde 122 trailer with PVC cover, and wondered what everyone else does with regards to security when stopping at services etc? Also, we are travelling to France this summer and were wanting to stop overnight on the drive down, but have just thought about what we will do with the trailer overnight. We haven't budgeted for the hard lockable top this year (maybe next) so would appreciate any advise on the matter. Regards Jason and Dawn
Hi JP
Hi think you can purchase a small barrel lock that fit in a hole on the towing hitch on the Erdy for around £5
we had a Daxara that is made by the same people.
Check it out as it works a treat.
Regards
Rex.

We have a hitch lock that can be used when the trailer tent is hitched to the car. I don't stay long at services, just enough to visit the loo, and possible the shop. Only time I would stop for a cuppa/food is if the car was in view of the cafe. If is more than one adult, one of you could nip to the loo, while the other one waits, and then swap. You are better off packing some food to eat in the car, or sitting outside in the service area, than buying food, especially at motorway services, which are usually over priced, and often poor quality.
