Well this has been an interseting thread!

We're off to the show tomorrow for a general mooch.
OH has told me to leave the credit cards at home - can't imagine why he said that . Never mentioned me leaving the cheque book though!!!!!!

Sounds like the food is better at this show than at the Motor Show in January. Portions were tiny and ridiculously expensive then.
Still think we'll take a packed lunch - will be expensive buying for 2 adults and 4 kids!
Thanks for the tip about checking the bags in the cloakroom and collecting later - will definately be doing that.

Never been to the show before, so will go with an open mind.
Would love to buy a smaller tent that I can pitch myself, will drool over the boats I can't afford or need and may even sneak a look at the tin tents!

To everyone else going tomorrow, hope you have a good time!!

We went on Saturday and had a great day.  I was pleased with the number of tents on display as they all start to look very simerlar in the end.   I liked looking around the boats and camper vans.  I liked the camplets and they seemed to be a really good price after looking around a £250,000 boat.

I would have liked to see more outwell bits, like the new lights etc.  I know that yoemans don't have them in stock yet but they could have got hold of some display models to show people.

I joined the Camping and Caravaing club.  Didn't buy anything else.  I tought the food was priced really well and good quality.

Went to the show yesterday and was interested in the Idaho XL.

We were umming and arring and have now ordered through the yeomans show site for the same price - www.yeomansoutdoors.co.uk/show

Hmmmm, no Khyam Screenhouse 4x4 on that list, nor Longleat...

Now, if you'd asked that before we went, I'd have taken my notebook and played at being an intrepid reporter for the day!
