Could anyone give us the heads up on how cold it might be to camp near here in April? Want to book this place we've found, and are up for taking what comes ourselves, but not sure whether the kids could weather it!
We'll be a few miles south of there in April, go at the same time every year with no problems. You watch, this crazy weather will make me a liar!...lol
Best to check the local weather forecast. We went up to the Highlands last week and had stunning weather.. Its just your luck really but April is usually ok (fingers crossed for you )
i live not far from Dunbar and the weather has been glorious although a few days last week were a bit wet. as its by the sea it can get a bit chilly and windy because of the sea breeze and the harr (sea mist) it doesnt really snow in dunbar so you should be ok on that front lol

A balanced life is a glass of wine in each hand :O)
I have always found it to be slightly warmer than further up or down the coast - depends what way the wind is blowing but we are really sheltered by the hills and any bad weather tends to miss us (saying that there are terrible gales here at the moment!)
Dunbar can have really bad harrs when the mist comes in from the sea.
Hope you are not staying at the Belhaven caravan park - 3 young kids run amok a couple of weeks ago in a digger on site that someone had left the keys in and wrecked loads of static caravans causing 100s of thousands of pounds damage!
