I agree with Alan, canvas would be the way to go. Nylon tents wouldn't last half a season without looking degraded and rough.
Either go for a more conventional/practical Cabanon or one of the more quirky yurt/bell tent types. I would avoid the Cabanon Biscayas or anything with a sewnin/zipin grounsheet as they would be more vulnerable to abuse and damage.MT
