We have booked a campsite in the new forest for easter, wkend, been checking weather forecast and it says strong winds, have never camped this early in the year and certainly not in strong winds.last year we was in cornwall and it was very windy at times our haven 8 stood up to it pretty well,we have just bought outwell idaho xl and was planning on easter being our trial run, dont fancy losing our new tent up the nearest tree though.Anyone have any thoughts on this?
My pop-up tent DID blow away last week, Elaine! Over the trees and disappeared out of sight. Amazing! Some tells me that you can buy Delta Pegs for added security. You can Google to find them! Johnny
ive booked a easter break too, our past 2 camping experiances have been summer so we braving this weekend, just looking at the longforcasts and its saying light snow friday night! we wont be telling the boyfriend me thinks!
We have booked a site near London for Easter, the long range forecasts are mixed, some say snow some say fine and sunny (if a bit cold). We are not sure wether to go but we have tickets for Wicked!. Looks like the Travel Inn brochure may come in Handy.
