well waited all this time to go for first camp of the year and the weather is c**p, but not going to put me off got my ehu and heaters so going to enjoy ourselves, cant move in my front room at mo got all camping stuff over the floor.

anyone elses off camping this weekend?

off to kelling heath in north norfolk been there before its a nice site and theres lots to do in norfolk

We were going to Keswick sunday, but got all call tonight from Keswick C&CC site...and it's flooded....so we've booked Greenhills near Bakewell instead. Going Monday instead, think I need the extra day to find all the camping gear.

I was in the lakes over the weekend and it was fine. They must have had some water in the last few days.

The problem with Keswick C&CC site in that it's right next to Derwentwater, so is prone to flooding at this time of year. It's the chance you take really, worth it though.

We're also off camping this weekend ... no electric hook up but right next to a pub ... next best thing eh?

We were at Keswick C&CC site in June last year, it was fooded then too!

Lovely site and friendly staff though!!
