Hi, we have just bought our first tent (a Hartford XL) and having finally got a break in the weather and a chance to put it up in the garden for a practice run yesterday (woohoo!), i'm now looking to start kitting it out with all the equipment.
Can anyone tell me if you're supposed to leave a gap around the edge of the bedrooms so the airbed isn't touching the walls? Ideally I'd like to get 2 king size beds for the bigger bedrooms which I think will just fit at a squeeze but is this a bad idea in case of rain?
Sorry, very inexperienced so any advice would be gratefully received.
Thanks very much.
As the gentleman said, as long as the inner does not touch the outer you will be fine. We have a wopping airbed for our sleeper (Argos - £50.00 ish) thats the size of a full double and sits the same height as a divan more or less, but you need EHU or an inverter to inflate the thing (inverter for me) otherwise a good flocked airbed is an alternative. We always put extra groundsheet under the bedroom, if you use the lower airbeds you will appreciate it...
