Hi all,
there was a thread on this recently called quechua all the way and tarps for sale which provoked many positive comments about these tents.
i was fascinated with the idea of owning one as i was looking for something that i could pop up quickly for weekends. You can also turn the seconds full base into a tent with an inner for £21.
The tents are all known as 2 seconds but with lots of permitations. I went back and bought the 2 second xl 3 man instead of the 3 second light I had bought elsewhere.
I am glad I did as it is spacious with some subtle improvements. Pitched it for the first time on Saturday (just the tent, not the base) and it was brilliant. It pitches up and down so quickly, it is embarrassing. But I am going to buy the Delta pegs as recommended on this website just for peace of mind as the wind can affect them.

When camping in a tent, my wife likes it erect ASAP but when camping in the Cali, my wife likes it up nice and smooth.

Good for storing some extra gear, and perfect with the popup tents or, as my mate plans to use it, with a motorhome,
I'd love to get one for my son to use with his (unconverted) VW van. We have half shares in my (yet to be used) coleman event shelter but this looks great for a couple of mates at a motocross day out or if he goes off on his own for a bit of surfing.
Is the smaller one without Sig and the larger one with??
i couldn't quite work that out from the quechua site.
We do a 3 night festival and it would be brilliant to go back to using the pop ups and have room to stand up and get dressed without having to drag the khyam up the hill and faff about with erecting it. (i am not one of those campers who enjoys playing with tents for the sake of it!)
I had thought i was getting too blinkin old and creaky to do it but this could be the answer to a long and happy life of festive camping.
It would also make it worth going for a short break at short notice when the weather is good.
yes yes yes yes yes!
