Hi
We have just been to Saunders Garden Centre to see the tent display. They have a good selection of Outwell tents,
Kyham, Vango, Eureka, and their new line for 2008 Nomad.
All the nomads are in TC (Technical cotton)and look very well made, nothing to write home about in the Outwell camp, but a lot to choose from.
But the tent I did like is the Khyam Indiana 8TC I can see this tent become very popular this year.
They do not have any tentipi on display this year and the boss was not there to ask.
But it is well worth a visit if you are looking for a new tent and with Highbridge caravans one mile down the road you can see most good tents on display in one day.
Regards
Rex.

When camping in a tent, my wife likes it erect ASAP but when camping in the Cali, my wife likes it up nice and smooth.

Hi all
Sorry I Gave the wrong name of the display at Saunders.
It should be Taunton Leisure.
Somerset camping is approx 12 miles further south on the A38 at walford cross for their tent display. Three big displays within 12 miles.
Rex.

The cider farm is Riches Cider at Watchfield. It's very good (strong) stuff! They have a small but popular restaurant there which is great for lunch.

Sorry Surfgirl,

Have only been twice. Just know how to find it it. (First time was researching tents and the lure of some scrumpy was just too much. Having tasted it at home, it was lovely so waited for another time to stock up).

Although I shouldn't have forgotton the name as on my return from last years camping holiday at Woolacoombe, I took a detour to come back and filled a huge water carrier up with cider. The car was stacked to the gunnells and i popped it in the back with the kids. What I didn't know was the lady hadn't tightened the lid properly and by the time i got home, about a third of it was soaked into my car floor. Took me ages to get the smell of cider out. If it hadn't have been for the flies, I wouldn't have bothered

We have bought a nomad from Taunto Leisure. They are running a similar exhibition at Bristol and Exeter and they are discounting the tents.
