you can do a budget DIY version with STRONG bin back and strong elastic bands - I have used successfuly for pillows in airing cupboard
I have had some of the *proper* vacuum bags but some of them are a swine to use as they have really stiff fastenings that slide together like those sealing plastic food bags. If you get so much as a mm gap then the bags and contents expand in seconds. Look out for ones with a zip type fastening is my advice
