Kampa Khazi - worth the bit extra, much more comfortable to sit on and far less likely to be accidentally spilled.
"The Kampa Khazi is a great new economy toilet with a few luxury features. Where some toilets of this style are only sized for children the Kampa Khazi is fine for most adults also. Stable so less chance of tipping and with a 5 ltr waste container. Easy to empty, just take the waste contaner with lid - no need to take the whole toilet. Easy to clean."
Just google for it and you'll find it on sale at many camping outlets for around £20.

If you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, just keep going till you go round the bend.
This is the one we had which i cant see in argos anymore. I took some balancing for me in the middle of the night but was good for kids. the lid folded down which meant it was tidy and you did not drop stuff in it. it was also nearly impossible to knock over. If you wanted the kids to use it during the day the bowl is not that big
------------- Oh am loving the tin tent after campaining against it..........I was wrong.
YES-- I got mine from Towsure at less than £20. I resembles a small keg with a toilet seat & lid. Changed my life completly. Lives in end of Lichfield Cherokee3 in damp & overnight, & back of tent screened by wind break othertimes.

Life is not a rehearsal--It's the real thing !
We used to use a fire bucket with a lid but it was a bit unstable and I was always nervous that it would get tipped over. Now we have a Kampa Khazi which is excellent. It only cost about £19.99 to buy.
