After reading the post about outwell carpets I thought I would search for a carpet for our Vango Aspen 700 which has been replaced with the Vango Zambezi 700 dxl.

The carpet on their website looks like a glorified picnic blanket

Has any one seen one or even better got one and could let me know what you think to it cos £75 - £85 is a lot to pay for a picnic blanket if that is the case.

Hi , Our outwell carpet is just like a picnic blanket too. Wow £75-85 is expensive though. Ours came free with the tent, but would have cost about £45

You may find a breathable groundsheet would be suitable for use  as a carpet, as I am almost sure you can cut them to shape without fraying. Try these

I bought the carpet for my Montana and was disappointed as its the 2008 I much preferred last years design.

Not used it this season yet but so far no problems. We used it last summer in Devon in some terrible windy and rainy weather and it was OK. What have you got now.

We have just sent are 700dlx back as it leaked on its first use from outer and groundsheet, vango sent us a new zambezi and looking to use next weekend.

Still waiting on a response from vango about the ruined items that came from the water coming in.
