Cabanon You can't beat a canvas frame tent - they last up to 30 years, withstand high winds & storms which may flatten other tents, they have loads of windows so it's a pleasure to sit inside when the weather is terrible outside, you can cook inside a canvas tent, so easy to erect, full height throughout - what more can I say?
I must admit that I loved my old canvas tent, we had so much fun in it, very happy memories of camping when the children were little.
That said, I like the dome tents around now, light weight, easy to put up, and so spacious. Plus we now have teenagers who can really help Will let you know how we get on with our new Vango soon

The best tent is the one that suits your own requirements at the time. We have a Wynnster Carina which is perfect for long stays and has all the features we need for that stay but for short trips we have a Coleman Lakeside with an additional canopy which is perfect for weekend stays.
Hi all.
The best value tent of all is the Cabanon tents Frame or tunnel. If you want something different go for the expensive DeWaard or the inflatable Karston.
All three makes are the the best tents made in their designs types, in my opinion.
these are all family tents.
