Hello!

Need a bit of advice, we tried putting our tent for the first as test - we have a Coleman Megallen 9!

What a nightmare, after falling out numerous times, we finally managed to get it up but looked very wrong (LOL)!!!

The sewn in ground sheet seamed to lift up one side no matter what we did!!  It just wouldn't sit on the floor!!

Anyone got any suggestions or does anyone know where I can get a pitching video from??

We are goona do another test next week but I felt a bit disappointed that we were so bad at getting the tent to pitch right!!  Did anyone else feel like this or is it just us being a bit useless???

Any thoughts would be very much appriecated!

I'm not sure whether the Coleman website has any pitching videos, but the Vango and Outwell sites do.  You could try finding a tent on their sites that's similar to yours and find out whther you are doing something wrong.

Should we be pegging down the SIG in place first to give us the anchor and shape??

Sorry must sound like a right plank, but this really is our first tent!!!

hi Donna, sorry you're having trouble, I don't know about your tent, but have you checked out the old threads, maybe some useful info there.
