If someone made an 18 ring stove with a bult in 40 litre oven and microwave...my wife would have made me buy one...however, we have the Coleman 3 ring...and I have to say that the extra ring does come in very useful when cooking for larger numbers.

I have two little suitcase stoves, and a very old double burner which screws on top of a gas bottle.... this is probably older than me but is fantastic and heats things up very well and evenly ... however, the suitcase stoves we bought last year gave it a run for its money .... We do have one of those double burners with a grill which I actually won in a prize draw a few years ago but this doesnt even compare with my other ones, but it was free so cant complain :)

We use the 2 ring coleman stove - It uses unleaded petrol, and it gives off a really powerful flame. also no heavy gas bottle to take up precious space in the car. We've also got a couple of the suitcase stoves, we usually take one for using as a spare ring for a brew up when using the main stove cooking the meal. The other stays at home as a spare. I used to have a couple of fold flat barbeques about 10 years ago which i got in millets (i think?) They might be useful to you if you really need a barbie.

I use 2 suitcase flat stoves ( the ones with the hairspray type gas cans) and a COBB BBQ I was worried when I bought this that it was an expensive gimick. However I think it is fab I can cook a full English Brekkie on it just use the rings for Tea and Beans. I have also done curry a roast chicken and many of the Hairy Biker recepies.. and I don't have to lug a big bag of BBQBricks with me I just make them up in bags with fire lights one bag for each meal to cook. Good as a heater too and easy to clean and transport. I know this sounds like an advert but I just wanted to share.. Always plenty of grub at our tent !!! just follow your nose and bring beer. xx

Long trips a 2 ring gas stove. Bucket BBQ

For weekends one of those picnic, suitcase ones. Bucket  BBQ.

Have a small trangia that was useful for doing hot drinks but will probably use the picnic one from now on.

Hi. we use a Gelert 3 ring gas stove and also have a mini oven/grill for jacket pots, pizzas etc  If someone invented a mini camping microwave I would have one of those aswell, although kind of defeats the idea of camping!    The more we cook the cheaper a holiday it is.

There is a small gas barbie that is ideal for camping its red and has a lid with legs that fold up over the lid to hold it all together,Ive got one but no idea who its by,the great thing about it is it uses the same blue gas bottle as the two ring hob and grill so no need to take any thing extra..Im sure someone on here will know the one Im talking about, like most people on here I swear by the little suitcase stoves for morning cuppa inside tent with my ancient old 2 ring and grill set up in awning for cooking meals...
