plastic milk bottles for me, ranging from 1 litre to 6 pints.

 usefull carying handle , even smaller kids can fill them . large top. then just dispose of them at the end of your stay.

We bought one of these and it is great.  It keeps the water cool and it is easy to use and carry.

I use a small collapsable water carrier from a £shop had it for 2yrs now and still in use
