I am looking for a new tunnel tent but need 4 sleeping areas - one can be divided by a curtain but 2 separate the other side - like the gelert Alaska - does anyone have any more suggestions. Also I want to see some of these sort of tents erected - any ideas where - really no futher north than Leicester - thanks

look on the yeomans camp show site http://www.yeomansoutdoors.co.uk/main.asp?sitepages=OutdoorExhibitions  and it will tell you where they have their shows...with tents erected.  they are at Bardills Island near Nottm this wk..the Derby side, just off A52...I went along for a drool!!!!

I don't know where you are based - but Attwools at Whitminster near Gloucester has a good display of erected tents. 12 months of the year, AND if asked they will demonstrate erection & dismantling of tents & trailer tents.

Hi

The Outdoor revolution Star camper 8 at around £200.00 - £250.00 is great if your not looking at spending to much. The Khyam Quebec 8 with steel side poles is very stable and around £260 - £300.

Most brands make a tent like the style your after but the glassfibre poled ones will never be that stable. The steel sided ones will be higher priced but much stronger.
