Hi All,

Recently purchased the above tent off slightlky used off ebay and had the practice pitch this morning.

Firstly ive got to say it wasnt as difficult to get up as had thought it might be and secondly what a great tent, it massive!

Really pleased with it as it seems we've got a real bargain but one thing i noticed is that there was no groundsheet for the porch area.  Should it have one?

Might have to cut a tarp down to size or can you buy them?  Would a footprint sheet cover this area?

Cheers for any help

We have a Vango Aspen 700 ( old model) and yes it should have a groundsheet. I would probably cut a tarp to fit and peg it down.

We love this tent - it is our main holiday tent - sop much space! Can't wait to put it up on 24/5.08 for a whole week away!

hi, as jayne&daz  said above it should definitely have a separate groundsheet for the porch area and no the footprint groundsheet will not cover it. might be worth you getting in touch with the seller perhaps they forgot to pack it with the tent. awesome tent tho in-it

Ive had another thought; would the footprint groundsheet for the new zambezi 700 include the porch area given that it is now a outer first tent?  Ive checked the vango website and the tent dimensions look identical but cant find the dims for the footprint anywhere.

Cheers

can`t say for definite but i would expect the footprint for the zambezi to actually be the aspen one, your best bet would be vango themselves as you already said. good luck and let us know how you get on.

Vango have responded saying the groundsheet is not available seperately.

Bit dissappointed by this, what would you do if an original one got damaged?

Trying Tentspares.co.uk as my last hope otherwise its DIY time.
