hello, we brought some of these yesterday, got home to try them, absolutley fantastic, we put the double quilt in one, and two sleeping bags and four pillows in another, it has saved us so much space, the only problem we have now is how we are going to suck the air out on the way home!!
Any suggestions???

No,sorry. But I bought one were you just roll it up and it sort of pushes the air out. I dont think it goes as flat as the ones you have just bought, but it does save a lot of space.
We used these last year. They are great and without them we certainly couldn't fit everything in the car/roofbox. I took my small rechargeable vacuum with us to help keep the carpet clean in our tent and so therefore I had a means of sucking the air out for the return journey. It doesn't do as good a job as the big vac but it's good enough. The biggest problem I found was trying to avoid them ripping or puncturing in the roof box when they accidentally got caught on something.
I see you are an Outwell Vermont owner, do they do a carpet for that? There's lots of posts on here loving the carpets that Outwell do.
can I ask where you got the bags, some I've tried have been rubbish, my Dunelm ones from last year have now been resigned to the bin.
We use the deflate setting on our Coleman airpump, not as good as the vacuum cleaner at home but we always manage to get it all in the car, just about!!
