Can anybody help??

Just started camping and bought a Montana 6.  The porch on the side has a removable groundsheet.  What way round does this go??   There are two zips on one end and on the other there are a couple of clips.  It seems to fit both ways round but was just wondering if anybody knows the correct way of fitting it.

zips on the outside door side, you can then unzip it and sweep out any mess.

We 've only had our Monty up twice and i worked out which way it should go but was baffled about where a clip thing should attach.
I figured out where the toggles should attach but I have no idea about the clip thing.
TBH last time we pitched it i didn't bother putting the ground sheet in cos i only use it for storing but I'd like to know about the clip if anyone one can help

I'd also like to know what the clips are for!

I've also got it with the zips nearest the ten, so that it's flat near where you walk in, thinking any water or dirt could run out??

The clips are designed to go on to the ring pins either side of the porch I think thats what I did with mine when I last used it - it is to keep it securely in place  I know they deffo clip on to something as I always use them I have not used my monty this year so far so would not be able to tell you for sure.

Hope you find out soon and have a great weekend.

Louise

We actually use the side porch as our toilet tent and therefore we never use the groundsheet just in case of spillages! Ensuite facilities in a tent, now that MUST be "glamping?"

If you have a problem stressing you, sort it. If you can't, there's no point worrying about it coz it won't make a blind bit of difference!!!! Jules

Was just about to post asking the exact same question. Those pesky clips (and others in the Montana I hasten to add). Fun working out what they are for!

like Martin said......zips at the front and toggle clips nearest the tent with zips undone to sweep out.

A tent is like a newborn born baby..... to some they all look the same..... but if its yours it's beautiful.
