To add to the French pitch size......I've been on a marked pitch in France where I could have erected every tent I own, which is nine including my TT, added the two cars and still had room left over. Folowing year at the same campsite we were allocated a different pich and we had to ask to be moved, because no way could have we got our fairly modest dome tent onto it.
