... and he inspected the problem (the tightening straps having ripped off) and he agreed with us that it was faulty stitching. (Only the stitching ripped, not the actual tent). So he was very apologetic and replaced it straight away. He even gave us the option of changing the tent for another make etc if we wanted. Now that is quality aftersales service!
So we now have a new tent that we need to try out again! After inspecting it, the whole thing looks as if it's stitched better. Better tensioning and double stitched around the tightening straps. (Looks like we got a Friday afternoon one first time round).
