Got back frm my first trip on Monday evening and Iam well and truly hooked, I had a fantastic time in the great outdoors and for those who like active outdoor things to do then I can thourouly reccomend Go Ape www.goape.co.uk (assault course in the tree tops) only for those with a head for heights!
Im sunburnt, covered in midge bites and still shattered but cant wait for my next trip in a few couple of weeks time.
I got a little help in getting the tent up from the lady who ran the site and they were very helpful (I was at Luss at Loch Lomond will write a review of the site later). If anyone has any tips on how to erect my tent (Outwell Arizona M, dome tent) on my own please let me know.
It rained a bit when I was away and there were a few drips, form what I could see it was coming in at the seams that attach the zips and then running down the zip onto the ground, this only happend the first time it rained. The next time it rained there were a couple of spots on the floor in the living area, and again in the bedroom pod but the back vent was open above this area, could this have been the proble here. I wasnt concerned over a few spots of rain getting in but is this normal or do I have a leaking tent?
Also when it was raining and I opened the door of the tent the rain would then run down and drop into the tent, is there anyway to avoid this?
Lou.
