By the time you have read all these responses and messages from adults on this website, you will probably wonder what on earth your mum is getting involved in with all these weird people!  Please ignore the threats of violence from some of the other members.....some of us are much nicer than others!

I think you need to work out what would make camping trips more okay for you, and then do some negotiating with your mum and dad about it. That means you need to keep your temper, have some good points to put forward, and you need to accept that everyone has equal rights in the family, and therefore some compromises need to be made. Being able to negotiate is a good skill to learn early on in life, and it will help you in lots of other situations too.

The threats of violence are the replies you should be taking notice of.No need for a horsewhip when a nice thick leather belt will do

lucky for you we only go to adult campsites!!!
