we were packing away in lashing rain on Sunday in Yorkshire too!! (also have a Montana 6)

we have pulled ours out of the bag and will put it up in the garden tomorrow

keep moving it round and it will dry eventually, a couple of hours on a dry day normally works here but that is with the tent up - it is much better over the line than in the bag even if it takes ages to dry

We had ours out in our (small) back garden for just under a week after the last BH weekend, what a total nightmare! It seemed that every time it got at least half dry the heavens would open again and unleash yet another downpour! Then the rain managed to get inside the tent, making the problem even worse (we have a SIG).. Eventually the Bloke managed to partially pitch it and I was able to get inside the thing with a large towel

It's now hanging over our bannister, taking up all our (narrow) landing and I'm quietly confident we'll be ready to pack away in a couple of days ..........That is once I've captured every single errant slug that hitched a lift indoors on it........

We draped ours around the dining room and got it just about dry after 2 days of moving it around to expose different bits to the top - but now have mud and grass in the dining room (thank goodness for laminate floors!).

We also packed up our montana on sunday in the rain in yorkshire lol.

I didn't have a clue how to dry it (see my drying tent help please thread) loads of people gave good ideas and advice and mine is now dry after spending a few hours over 2 washing lines yesterday.

I hung the whole thing over for a few hours then dropped it to the floor and pegged up the top opening all doors and windows to get air inside it where it was still damp.

The night before however whilst it was still raining i hung it in varios locations across the house and it did dry off quite a bit.

Oh yeah, make sure you get the inners out, it dries much faster.
